Some of the following links are to official
home-pages, while others are to city links from
various travel organizations. A few, perhaps
the most insightful, represent residents' or
visitors' personal impressions of their favorite
towns. Granted, several of the links on this
page are currently of the "ho-hum" variety,
but I intend to redirect some of them as more
intriguing web sites for those locations come to my
attention. I am also beginning to create a few
pages of my own for those places which are especially
dear to me (indicated by
bright blue links). The
standard information links for those cities are still
accessible from their respective pages.
Like the places
they represent, these links range from blandly
informational and crassly commercial to
breathtakingly scenic, delightfully charming, and
fascinatingly historic. And, as when traveling
the highways and byways of the real world, as you
point-and-click your way from place to place on the
web you never know just when you'll see a familiar
face, or stumble upon a surprise...
